![]() If there’s an original Peacock show, for instance, I can’t name it, though other new services are finding quality hits like HBO Max (The Flight Attendant), Apple TV+ (Ted Lasso) or Disney Plus (The Mandalorian). But the future, of course, is creating your own original content that people want to sign up for, and Netflix has been doing that for years while these other new streaming services are just trying to find their footing. ![]() This is not Netflix’s “fault,” it’s just inevitably how this was going to go, and everyone should fully expect to see more factional splits as companies create their own streaming services and want to upload their own “greatest hits” as a solid back catalog.
